Security Vetting

The TWC recruitment procedure involves a two stage interview process where potential candidates are scored on a number of areas:

  • General intelligence and aptitude
  • Flexible attitude to work

A key feature of TWC's operation is the high level vetting of staff. We realise that thorough security vetting will help to eliminate any concerns of staff quality and suitability, therefore we have enlisted the help of an independent vetting organisation to check all staff employed and used by TWC.

They investigate:
  • Address and Date of Birth details
  • Previous work history
  • Criminal records held
  • Electoral roll
  • CCJ's
Our chosen security vetting company work to a standard higher than that outlined within BS 7858, the British Standard for security vetting. They use the BS 7858 as a benchmark with its requirement for a ten-year work history, and extend their search criteria to a further five years vettable history including further references, National Insurance and Tax contribution details, and criminal record vet.
